- There are many types of depression such as Major, clinical, atypical, postpartum, bipolar/manic, seasonal, and psychotic
- symptoms of depression vary depending on the individual but some of the most common ones are: hopelessness, weightloss/gain, suicidal thoughts, fatigue, difficult concentration, emptiness, aches and pains that can't be treated, over sleeping, and no longer taking interest in things that were once enjoyed

- postpartum is less common and usually occurs during or after a pregnancy
